𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: 𝑨 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 ✨
And here we are again! On December 28th we began a new 13 day cycle in the Mayan Dreamspell calendar.
The beauty of working with these 13 day cycles is that they can provide a structure for these 2 week periods, allowing you to strategize your plans, visions, work and activities from a more creative and inspiring source.
We now find ourselves in the cycle of the White Wizard which is centric around the core themes of:
Receptivity
Enchantment
Timelessness
When we look at this sign archetypically we find a notion of power through subtlety… embracing a flow of magnetism rather than force… an artful choice to allow... to release known or unknown inhibitions as they arise.
I feel that this cycle really grants us an opportunity to remember the transformative quality of simply being ourselves. Take time to really listen to your intuition, you may feel guided to change up your approach and take a more exciting and unknown approach to existing activities, projects, issues, challenges, goals, relationships…
During this time of year we are so inundated with media messaging that takes on more of a ‘push, nature… "Make 2021 your best year yet", "Lose that weight", "Get x amount of dollars", "Be better", "Change your lifestyle"...
And although, yes, this may be motivating, it's often not coming from a very embodied place.. hence why the routine usually crashes several weeks down the track.
I instead would invite you to embrace the perspective and mindset of ease, receptivity, and openness through to January 9th.
What if instead of making a big goal, you choose something that you already are grateful for and have improved within in 2020 and contemplate/meditate/visualize how you could expand that even more??
What If instead of setting a fixed goal… you make a fixed commitment to say upon rising, “Dear Life, I am open to being guided in the direction that is in highest alignment with my heart.”
Then watch what happens, watch the invitations life will bring your way to step forward into a brighter, fresher YOU. And perhaps supplanting the approach of push/improvement with the approach of gratitude/receptivity could actually be the MOST productive move!
That’s what this White Wizard cycle invites us to explore. Embrace what makes you feel a stronger sense of enchantment, and often on the other side of that will be your greatest insights, breakthroughs, creations and drive. Like the painter whom is one moment infatuated with the way the light is reflecting off of the necklace of his beloved… lost in a moment of delicate rapture, and as he falls asleep that night, he dreams of his next masterpiece…
Open up to the brilliance and creativity that is available to dance through each and every one of us.
